
Students in the education studies major are provided opportunities to apply what they learn in class within a teaching context throughout their time at ¾Å¾ÅÊÓÆµ.

Students completing a major in Education Studies must complete required Pre-admission Coursework which is specially designed to provide aspiring educators a broad-based foundational knowledge in the liberal arts and apply what they learn in authentic educational settings.
Students seeking to major in Education Studies (non-licensure) must complete the following requirements to be admitted into the major.
- Complete and submit .
- Successfully complete INST 202 & EDUC 225 pre-admission courses with a grade of C or above.
- Achieve Acceptable ratings on the ¾Å¾ÅÊÓÆµ Dispositional Survey for Educators.
- Achieve cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 at the time of application.
